VOYAGE: Revelle Leadership Certificate Program

VOYAGE is a leadership certificate program offered by Revelle College for you, the student seeking a flexible opportunity to engage in leadership development on campus, to improve your skill set, and explore personal and professional development opportunities.

The core categories of the program include: Personal & Professional Development, Community Engagement, Health & Wellness, Student/Faculty Engagement, and Giving Back. You can achieve three different levels of completion: All Aboard (approximately 10 total hours), Anchor (approximately 20 total hours), and Beacon (approximately 30 total hours).

Levels must be completed in sequential order, though there is no requirement to complete all of the levels. Each level is its own distinct accomplishment. VOYAGE is self-directed and can be completed at your own pace.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Develop and reflect upon their leadership skills and limitations
    • evidenced by performance in working with groups / ability to articulate skills in a professional setting
  • Differentiate between leader positions and leadership styles
    • to be able to apply them in a variety of professional, personal, and civic environments.
    • intentional experiences relevant to career/education beyond UCSD - applied self-knowledge and problem solving skills
  • Gain an improved sense of social responsibility and connectedness to the larger community through service
    • will demonstrate civic responsibility, and have the opportunity to build and develop professional working relationships.

Co-Curricular Credit

Get involved and have your experiences and skills captured on your new UC San Diego official Co-Curricular Record (CCR).

Your hard work outside of the classroom deserves to be recognized. The Co-Curricular Record can help you understand the skills and competencies that you developed through your experiences. The Co-Curricular Record recognizes your involvement and skills developed on an official, validated record signed by the Registrar of the university. You’ll be able to highlight the skills you developed, which is great when you’re meeting with potential employers or applying for graduate/professional programs.
