Guidelines for Independent Project Minors

While a minor is not required, Revelle College offers students interested in a specific period or topic the opportunity to create their own minor. Your Independent Project Minor must be planned in consultation with and approved by a department of your choice.

  • Statement of Purpose defining the objective(s) and scope of your minor;
  • Quarter-by-Quarter Plan listing the courses proposed for your minor in the appropriate quarter. Please consult department websites/advisors to determine the quarter(s) in which courses are offered.

Consult department advisors to make sure courses will continue to be offered by the department.
