Revelle Students CheeringFirst-Year Student Orientation Sessions

Special Notice: We’re upgrading our Orientation Program for next year. The information found below only applies to the first-year class of 2024. Dates, times and fees subject to changes.

Welcome Class of 2024! We’re excited to meet you at orientation. We’re here to help you get to know your new home at Revelle College. You’ll have Orientation Leaders to serve as your student guide as you learn about all your academic, leadership, and involvement opportunities, and meet fellow students, staff, and faculty along the way. This is your chance for a smooth transition to Triton and Revelle life.

Below you’ll find information about orientation sessions, a breakdown of costs, and a link to some frequently asked questions. A couple of important notes:

  • Submit your Academic Background on the New Triton Advising site on the Virtual Advising Center by June 15. We want to know a little about you in order to provide proper academic orientation and course recommendations this summer.
  • Review your COMPASS online pre-orientation by July 31. Meet Revelle College and select topics you are interested in learning about once you arrive.
  • Register for orientation by July 31. Complete COMPASS to be directed to the Orientation registration page to select the date of your orientation. Register by the deadline listed below to avoid any late fees.
  • Download the Revelle App to start exploring Revelle College. This will be a tool you use as a resource for Orientation, so be sure to have it installed when you attend. Please contact us if you have any concerns about the app.
  • Parent & Family Orientation is a separate, optional but encouraged event that requires an invitation from the student. Students can send the invitation on the Orienation Registration page on COMPASS.

Printable version of the First-Year Student and Family Orientation Schedules will be available in September.

Below you will see dates for the 2020 Revelle College orientations. Space is limited. The deadline to register is July 31. No Orientation date changes are allowed after July 31.

Note: While you can choose to move in prior to the standard September 26 move-in date for $46/night, you MAY NOT move in on the day of your selected orientation.
