American History & Institutions (AHI)


Knowledge of American History and the principles of American Institutions under the federal and state constitutions is required of all candidates for the bachelor's degree.

Refer to the UC San Diego General Catalog for how to meet AHI.

An international student with an F-1 or J-1 visa may request an exemption from this requirement by contacting the Revelle Academic Advising office during their graduating quarter.
