Entry Level Writing Requirement (ELWR): If you have not met the ELWR through one of the university conditions, complete a UC transferable English Composition course at a community college prior to the start of Fall Quarter. View the ELWR Approved Transfer Course List for courses that will satisfy ELWR.
General Education Requirements: Select courses to fulfill general education requirements you have not already satisfied through AP/IB credit or community college coursework. Review the Revelle College General Education (GE) requirements for more information about each requirement.
Major Requirements: Contact your major advisor for suggestions on courses you can use to fulfill major requirements. For more information regarding your major, visit the department website.
Complete IGETC: If you are not IGETC certified, meet with your community college counselor for information on courses you can take in the summer to receive this certification. Please also view Revelle’s Requirements for IGETC Transfer Students. Note: IGETC certification is not listed on your community college transcript. UCSD Admissions requires an IGETC certification form sent to their office.
Major Requirements: Contact your major advisor for suggestions on courses you can use to fulfill major requirements. For more information regarding your major, visit the department website.
