- P/NP Maximum: No more than 25% of your total UC San Diego course units may be taken on a P/NP basis
- Senior Residency: 35 of last 45 units must be taken at UC San Diego
- 60 upper division units is the minimum requirement to graduate from UC San Diego (15 four-unit courses). Note: All Community College coursework is considered lower-division.
- 48 upper division units is the minimum requirement for a major. Note: All Community College coursework is considered lower-division.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: 2.00
- 180 Units, effective Fall 2017 (up to 192 units required for some engineering majors)
