Revelle College Emerging Leaders Program

The Revelle College Emerging Leaders Program has been a treasured leadership program since 1993 that contributes to a community of diverse, compassionate, and equity-minded leaders at Revelle College. The program provides the environment for students to actively hone practical and transferable leadership skills rooted in theoretical and conceptual frameworks. Our guiding and values are inspired by the UC San Diego Changemaker Institute. You will have the opportunity to network with Revelle staff, connect with a peer mentor, meet a close-knit group of colleagues, and learn more about yourself—not only as a leader, but also as a person—in an inclusive environment. After the one-year program, cohort members can expect to walk away with a greater understanding of group dynamics, awareness of personal leadership styles, experience with implementing a capstone project rooted in changemaking, and most of all, new friends!

The program accepts a cohort of students each Fall quarter and applications are available in September. Time committments and important dates are included in the online application. No leadership experience necessary. We welcome you to reach out to us with any questions at revelp@ucsd.edu.
