We are proud of the students who come to Revelle College. You represent a fascinating variety of talents and backgrounds, and we are committed to fostering that diversity in an environment of mutual respect. Your studies here will be rewarding and challenging. As a small college within a large university, Revelle College affords many opportunities to develop leadership skills through service organizations and student government.
Dalia Valladares, Revelle biology major and Gates Millennium Scholar, is featured in thisweek@ucsandiego. “The Gates Millennium Scholarship has inspired me to grow more as a student,” said Valladares, who grew up in south central Los Angeles. “I want to continue to shape my own success to then come back to my community and help young students learn to shape their own aspirations and dreams.”
The Writing Center offers academic support for UCSD undergraduates who are working on papers for any of their classes. The Writing Center can help at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming for ideas to polishing a final draft. One-on-one assistance is provided by trained peer mentors on a pre-arranged or drop-in basis. The center also sponsors group workshops offering strategies for success with specific writing tasks.
